Seems like desert surf is a thing. I love the sense of space on this album. Some moments here and there remind me of the Shadows but that might be just me. A classic, and actually my favorite from Yawning Man.

With all respect due to Nick DiSalvo, who is incredibly talented, the proggy vocals are not what I love the most with Elder. What I love the most, I'll admit, is the incredible synthy, krauty goodness, from the track Sonntag on the previous album to the wonderful delving LP Hirschbrunnen. I think these instrumental Sessions were a major step in that direction, and I love them dearly for it.
